The Project Brief
The roof needed a durable replacement system with reliable detailing around the chimney, ridge and roof window areas.
Poorly formed junctions are a common source of water ingress, so the leadwork and flashing details were a key part of the project.
Work Completed
- Installed Redland 49 concrete interlocking tiles.
- Formed bossed lead flashings around the chimney for reliable weatherproofing.
- Installed a remote-operated Velux roof window with the correct flashing kit.
- Completed a Res-Tec GRP bay roof installation.
- Added dry ridge and eaves ventilation to improve airflow.
